The personal information we need and why
The information we collect from listeners is,

Contact details (telephone and/or email address)
We may also collect
The name and contact details from a family member, friend or carer.
This information is used for the purpose of sending out recordings of the publications that have been requested. In addition it may be used for dealing with any queries in connection with the sending out and returning of the recordings.
It may also be used to obtain feedback about our recordings.
The information we collect from volunteers is
Name
Address
Contact details (telephone and/or email address)
Times they are free to volunteer
This information is used for the purpose of contacting volunteers in connection with their role, to ensure the smooth running of the organization. It is used to inform committee members about meetings, and all volunteers about the time, date and place of the AGM.
Protecting the information
Pendle Voice has appropriate measures in place to protect the information it collects
It will only be used for the purposes set out above.
It will be updated when appropriate
It will be held for a period of not longer than six months, after we have been informed recordings are no longer required, or volunteers leave the organization. (check with Chris about permanently deleting/archiving the data)
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect personal data from unauthorized or unlawful processing, and from accidental loss, damage or destruction.
Personal information is not used for marketing
Accessing your information
You are entitled to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and to correct any errors. We will respond within one month of receipt of the request. There is no charge for this.
