Pendle Voice is part of the Talking Newspaper Federation

Pendle Voice was founded in 1975 to produce a taped version of the local weekly press.

Pendle Voice has since expanded to produce various national and regional titles and currently sends out over 1000 cassette tapes and memory weeks every week.

Pendle Voice is run completely by volunteers, and we always welcome new volunteers. There are many roles within our operation – either recording newspapers in our own studio, or copying the tapes and memory sticks, or helping out with the administration.
